Integrated Prototyping Solutions

DFM & Engineering

01. DFM & Engineering

Every project starts with a detailed technical audit to solve complex molding challenges: Wall thickness optimization to eliminate sink marks, Scientific gate placement for balanced filling, and Draft analysis to ensure surface texture integrity.

02. Material Validation

Using production-grade resins for functional testing: Medical (Biocompatibility validation), Aerospace (UL94-V0 & High strength-to-weight), and Robotics (Mechanical toughness and wear resistance).

03. Bridge Production

Scalable rapid prototype injection molding: Low-volume runs (25 to 500+ functional parts) and durable Bridge Tooling using aluminum or pre-hardened steel for up to 5,000+ cycles.

Beyond Standard Molding

Post-Molding CNC Machining

Leveraging our heritage in high-precision CNC machining to achieve ±0.01mm (0.0004″) tolerances for critical bearing seats or custom threads that are unreachable by standard molding processes.

Rigorous Quality Assurance

We provide First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and full material COA certifications for complete traceability in medical and aerospace applications.

Secondary Ops: Ultrasonic Welding, EMI Shielding, & Hardware Assembly.

Prototype Molding Services (FAQ)

Q: How do you handle high-temperature or abrasive materials like PEEK or Glass-Filled Nylon?

A: We use specialized mold steels (like H13 or S7) and high-temp oil heaters to manage thermal expansion. Our injection units are equipped with wear-resistant bimetallic barrels to handle glass-filled resins without contamination.

Q: Who owns the mold, and how is maintenance handled for bridge production?

A: You own the mold. Once the tooling is paid for, it is your asset. For bridge production (up to 5,000+ cycles), we provide lifetime mold maintenance at no extra cost while the tool remains in our facility.

Q: What if we need a design iteration after the T1 sample?

A: We design our prototype molds with "steel-safe" areas whenever possible. Minor modifications can often be done quickly in our in-house CNC shop, saving you the cost of a new tool.

Q: Can you guarantee tolerances for complex geometries in Medical/UAV apps?

A: For critical features, we combine molding with secondary CNC machining to reach ±0.01mm. Every critical dimension is verified via CMM and documented in the FAI report provided with your samples.

Q: Do you support overmolding or insert loading for robotic sensors?

A: Yes. We have extensive experience in insert molding (metal-to-plastic) and multi-material overmolding. We can manually or automatically load sensors and custom hardware during the cycle.

Q: How do you verify material authenticity (e.g., medical grade)?

A: We provide original Material Certifications (COA) for every batch. For regulated industries, we maintain full lot traceability to ensure the resin matches your exact specification.
